The settings are as follows:
User ID:
Enter a User ID (a log-in name) (32 characters maximum).
Set Password:
Select this check box to set a password for the User ID.
Password:
Enter the password (32 characters maximum).
Confirm:
Enter the password again to confirm it.
Department ID:
Enter the Department ID the User ID belongs to (seven digits
maximum).
Set Password:
Select this check box to set a password for the Department
ID.
Password:
Enter the password (seven digits maximum).
Confirm:
Enter the password again to confirm it.
IMPORTANT
When both Department ID Management and User Management are enabled, be
sure to assign a Department ID to each user and enter the correct password for
the Department ID. Only users who have the Department ID can log in to the
machine or the Remote UI.
User Type:
Specify the User Type by selecting the [User] (End User) or
[System Manager] option button.
Display Name:
Enter the user name to display (32 characters maximum).
E-mail Address:
Enter the e-mail address of the user (120 characters
maximum).
IMPORTANT
• When the optional Card Reader-E1 is attached to the machine, do not register a
new user.
• The settings above can be specified only on the Remote UI.
