Calibrating the Touch Screen

After the installing and connecting your KFM15_e monitor and installing the touch
screen, you have to calibrate the touch screen. Calibration serves two purposes:
❏ Sets the active area of the touch screen
❏ Aligns the active area of the touch screen to the screen's image
Before you calibrate the touch screen, let the monitor warm up
for 30 minutes and then center the screen's image within the
screen area.
Calibration aligns the active touch-sensitive area of the touch screen with the
image on the display. Calibration also determines the edges of the screen's image
and locates the center of the touch screen. If the touch screen is not calibrated
properly, the active area of the touch screen may not be aligned with the screen's
image or may be unnecessarily small in size.
To calibrate the touch screen, open the touch screen control panel program, and
then select "Calibration". Follow the directions displayd on the screen. Fore more
information on calibration, refer to the user documentation enclosed on the
supplied CD with the touch screen drivers.
Whenever you change the resolution you have to calibrate the
touch screen.
