Any Key

This facility will only be available if the
SETTINGS
< Any key >
phone is used with handsfree equipment.
(Off)
This facility lets you answer a call by pressing any key
except the End key.

Greeting

SETTINGS
Instead of the greeting Welcome, which
< Greeting >
is displayed each time the phone is
(Welcome)
turned on, you can have your telephone
to display a welcome greeting that you
choose yourself.
Letters are entered with the numeric keys 2 -- 9. Press the
appropriate numeric key one, two, three or four times,
depending on the position of the letter on the key. If you
want to enter a space, press the 1 key. To enter a hyphen,
press the 1 key twice.
You can also enter lower-case letters, national characters
and punctuation marks. Refer to the table at the end of this
chapter.
The Greeting function also lets you turn the greeting off.

Own Number

If you have chosen a personal greeting,
SETTINGS
<Own number>
you can have your phone number
(
)
displayed, too. This function lets you
enter the number.

Language

SETTINGS
The phone is normally delivered with
< Language >
English texts in the display. This function
(English)
lets you select a language other than
English.

Clock Menu

Clock
The time of the day is shown
A NET
continuously in the bottom line of the
13:10
display. The hours and minutes are
presented in the 24-hour format, for
example 13:10.
Alarm
The phone has an alarm clock which you can set.
The alarm will sound at the time set, even if the phone is
turned off. The illumination of the keys and the display will
flash, too.
