The roots pumps are designed for applications in the semiconductor The vacuum pump is intended for installation in a potentially industry under Clean Room conditions. The WY 4500 C roots pumps non-explosive environment. can only be used as backing pumps in conjunction with other (primary) pumps in vacuum systems.
CAUTION recommend to fit a regulating valve at the cooling water inlet. The Roots WY 4500 C has cooling systems in both cylinder covers The vacuum pump emits sounds of high intensity. (cooling coils). These cooling systems are separated from each other.
NOTE: VCI stands for “Volatile Corrosion Inhibitor”. VCI-products (film, paper, cardboard, foam) evaporate a substance that condenses in CAUTION molecular thickness on the packed good and by its electrochemical properties effectively suppresses corrosion on metallic surfaces. Tilting a vacuum pump that is already filled with oil can cause large However, VCI-products may attack the surfaces of plastics and quantities of oil to flow into the cylinder.
Vertical gas flow on the vacuum pump. For advice please contact your local Busch Vertical gas flow has the advantage of self-cleaning of the cylinder representative! during operation.
Installation Star-star connection (Low voltage): Fitting l Make sure that the “Installation Prerequisites” are complied with l Fit or mount the vacuum pump at its final location Electrical connection WARNING Risk of electrical shock, risk of damage to equipment.
