3 TRANSPORT

The SPLENDIMO T disc mower can be transported on the
tractor's 3 point hitch.
- The locking hook for the hydraulic ram will automatically
engage and lock during retraction.
- Check if the ram is secured by the locking hook (fig. 5).
- Use all such lighting and warning signals as are man-
datory by law.
- For transport on public roads: make sure that the front
axle weight is sufficient (fit front weights, if necessary)
and that the rear axle weight allowed as a maximum is
not exceeded .
- When transporting the SPLENDIMO 360 T mower, take
its transport height of over 4,00 m into account.
The machine is now ready for transport.

4 MACHINE ADJUSTMENTS

- Pull up the locking hook of the hydraulic ram and lower the
cutter bar carefully by means of the ram.
- Adjust the tractor hitch in such a way that the hinge pin of
the intermediate chassis has a height of 74 cm over ground
level (fig. 4). Take tractor wheelings into account.
Limit a downward movement with, for example, a stabi-
lisation chain (optional extra) if it is impossible to maintain
the adjusted height of the tractor hitch.
- Adjust the mowing height by adjusting the forward incli-
nation of the cutter bar with the aid of the top link (fig. 6).
- Fold down the safety cover and secure it firmly in the
clamp block (fig. 7).
When steep slopes are mown, crop flowthrough may be
affected by the swathboard. If so, remove the swathboard and
its support.
