Problem
The cooking zone has been operating continuously for an
extended period.
The hob is unable to connect to your home network or the
extractor hood.

The cooking sensor has overheated and the cooking zone has
been switched off.

The cooking sensor has overheated and all the cooking zones
have been switched off.

The battery in the cooking sensor is almost drained.
The connection to the cooking sensor has been broken.

The cooking sensor is faulty.
The cooking sensor indicator will not light up and the cooking
sensor is not responding.
The indicator on the sensor flashes twice. The battery in the
cooking sensor is almost drained. You may be interrupted the
next time you cook by the battery running out.
The indicator on the sensor flashes three times. The connec-
tion to the cooking sensor has been broken.
The operating voltage is incorrect/outside of the normal oper-
ating range.

The hob is not connected properly

Demo mode

If the
±
symbol is shown on the display, demo mode
is active. The appliance does not heat up in demo
mode. Disconnect the appliance from the power
supply.Wait a few seconds before reconnecting the
appliance. Then deactivate demo mode in the basic
settings within 3 minutes of switching on the appliance.

Solution
The automatic safety shut-off function has been activated. See the section entitled
Acknowledge the fault code by touching any of the buttons. You can cook as usual
without a connection.
If this code is displayed again, contact the technical after-sales service.
Wait until the cooking sensor has cooled down sufficiently before activating the func-
tion again.
If you are not using the cooking sensor, remove it from the cookware and keep it
away from the other cooking zones and sources of heat. Switch the cooking zones
back on.
Replace the 3 V CR2032 battery. See the section entitled ~ "Changing the battery"
Switch the function off and then on again.
Contact the technical after-sales service.

If this does not solve the problem, press and hold the symbol on the cooking sensor
for 8-10 seconds and then reconnect the cooking sensor to the hob. See the section

Contact your electricity supplier.
Disconnect the hob from the mains power supply. Make sure that it has been con-
nected as shown in the circuit diagram.
