    The Dell EMC PowerEdge R240 is an affordable entry-level, single-socket 1U rack server for SMB and service providers. The PowerEdge R240 includes four DIMM slots, supports up to 64GB UDIMMs and four 3.5-inch hard drives. The PowerEdge R240 is ideal for web hosting, mail serving, file and print, as well as a wide range of general-purpose productivity applications.

    Memory The PowerEdge R240 Integrated Memory Controller (IMC) supports DDR4/-RS protocols with two independent, 64-bit wide channels. The maximum system population at launch will be 64GB.
