    All Scope wheels come with high-quality bearings from either SKF or CeramicSpeed, depending on your chosen model. For a proper installation and deinstallation of the bearings we advise you to use the Scope Bearing Press set, which included the following parts: PART NO.

    FRONT WHEEL REMOVING THE BEARINGS To remove the bearings you’ll need the following tools: • Bearing Installation Tool (T1/T2/T3) • 2x Plastic Presshead (T6) Remove the end caps by inserting the bearing installation tool spindle (T1&T2) into one side of the hub and gently tap out the end-caps on both sides (1 & 8). Place the two small threaded plastic pressheads (T6) on a bearing as shown in the image and insert the bearing removal tool (T1&T2).

    FRONT WHEEL REPLACING THE BEARINGS To replace the bearings you’ll need the following tools: • Bearing Installation Tool (T1/T2/T3) • Long Bearing Presshead (T4) • Short Bearing Presshead (T5) • 15mm Guide (T9) Apply a small amount of grease on both bearing seats of the hub. Carefully place one bearing (2) in the bearing seat without applying pressure. Place the long 1524/1528 (T5) presshead and 15mm guide (T9) on the bearing removal tool (T1&T2) with the 1524 side facing the hub.
  • Page 11 FRONT WHEEL Gently tighten the bearing removal tool and assure its correct position on the bearing. Tighten the bearing removal tool until the bearing is fully seated. Check the alignment to make sure the bearing runs smoothly. Insert the axle into the hub (5). Repeat steps 3-7 but do not use the 15mm guide (T9).

    REAR WHEEL REMOVING THE BEARINGS To remove the bearings you’ll need the following tools: • Bearing Removal Tool (T1/T2/T3) • 1x Plastic Presshead (T6) • Large Spacer (T9) • Small Spacer (T8) Remove the freehub and hub cap from the hub by pulling it off the axle. Remove the freehub spacer from the axle. Pull off the non-drive side hub cap by hand. Place a small threaded plastic presshead (T6) on the bearing removal tool (T1&T2) and insert the tool into the axle from the drive side of the...
  • Page 16 REAR WHEEL Place a small threaded plastic presshead (T6) on the bearing removal tool (T1&T2) and insert it into the axle on the non-drive side of the hub. Place the large spacer (T7) on the opposite side of the hub and screw on the bearing removal tool handle (T3). Gently tighten the tool until the bearing is released.

    REAR WHEEL REPLACING THE BEARINGS To replace the bearings you’ll need the following tools: • Bearing removal tool (T1/T2/T3) • Long press head 1524/1528 (T4) • Short press head (1524/1528 (T5) • 15mm guide (T9) Apply a small amount of grease onto both bearing seats of the hub. Carefully place one bearing (2) on the bearing seat on the drive-side without applying pressure. Place the long 1524/1528 (T5) presshead and the 15mm guide (T9) on the bearing removal tool (T1&T2) with the 1524 side facing the hub.
  • Page 18 REAR WHEEL Gently tighten the bearing removal tool and assure its correct position on the bearing. Tighten the bearing removal tool until the bearing is fully seated. Check the alignment to make sure the bearings run smoothly. Insert the axle into the hub (11). Carefully place the other bearing (13) in the bearing seat on the non-drive side without applying pressure.
