Setting the Alarm

You will hear the alarm sound through earphones at a
specified time. Select from 1 to 99 minutes.
[Operate with the remote control]
The alarm is cancelled when the main unit is placed on
the multi-link station.

During playback or whilst in
the stop mode, press the
MENU button.
The unit enters the menu select mode.

Select "ALARM" by pressing
the or button and press
the button.

Select "ALARMon" by press-
ing the or button and

Select the time by pressing
or button and press the
button.
You can set the time from 1 to 99 minutes.
When the alarm is set:
Alarm indicator lights up.
Alarm indicator is lit
When the set time comes:
The alarm beeps repeatedly for one minute from the ear-
phones.
Flashes
To stop the beep sound
Press any button on the remote control or the main unit.
To change the alarm time
Repeat the operation from step 1.
To cancel the alarm setting
Select "ALARMoff" in step 3.
Notes:
" Press the
button after setting the alarm. The remaining
time will be displayed for about 1 second.
" Turn the power off after setting the alarm. The remaining
time will appear and the alarm beeps at the time you set.
" When the battery runs out, the alarm beeps and the set-
ting is cancelled.
" If recording is performed, the alarm setting will be can-
celled.
