24. D uring operation the hair straightener becomes hot. Do not
place it near flammable materials.
25. A llow the hair straightener to cool before putting it away.
Allow to cool before storing.
26. D o not use the appliance with a voltage converter.
27. D o not direct hot air toward eyes, hands or other heat-
sensitive areas.
28. D o not unplug by pulling on cord. To unplug grasp the
plug.
29. R isks exist even if the hair straightener is switched off.
Always unplug the appliance from the electrical outlet
immediately after using and before cleaning.
30. D o not wrap the cord around the appliance (risk of breaking
the cord).
31. D o not cover the hair straightener as it might cause heat
accumulating inside of it.

Microprocessor supported styling
Thanks to its highly sophisticated microprocessor and its LED
control display, the straightener allows you to personalise your
settings.
•. I ndividual temperature choice: Using the temperature
selection buttons (2) (3), you can adjust the temperature
in 20°C steps in a range between 120°C and 220°C. We
recommend the following temperature settings.

The higher the temperature setting, the faster you will get .
a sleek straightening result. When working with the maximum
temperature setting, you should not treat the same strand more
than once.
•. .Express h eat up time: After only 30 seconds, the appliance
is ready for use.
•. .Safety auto off: For safety reasons, the appliance
automatically switches off after 30 minutes. If you want to
keep on straightening, simply press the «on/off» button (4)
again shortly.
Getting started
• C onnect the appliance to an electrical outlet and push the .
«on/off» button (4) for 2 second to turn it on.
• D uring heat-up, the display turns red. The appliance is
delivered with a default temperature setting of 180°C.
• A fter approx. 30 seconds, the display turns green indicating
that the minimum styling temperature is reached. You can
start using the appliance.
Styling
Preparation
• M ake sure your hair is completely dry before using the
appliance.
• F irst, comb your hair through with a wide toothed comb to
remove tangles.
• S ection your hair off. Starting close to the roots, take a thin
section of hair (strands of 3–4 cm maximum) and clamp it
firmly between the styling plates.
How to straighten your hair
• G ently run the straightener through the entire length of the
hair, slowly and steadily, from roots to the ends without
stopping for longer than 2 seconds. This will ensure best
straightening results without damaging your hair. The
styling plates (5) ensure easy and smooth gliding.
• Y ou can create flicks at the hair ends by slowly turning the
appliance either outwards or inwards before releasing a
strand.
After use
After each use, switch off the appliance by pushing the «on/
off» button (4) for 2 seconds.
Cleaning
Always unplug before cleaning. Never immerse the appliance
in water. Clean the appliance with a damp cloth and use a soft
cloth to dry.
