4.1 Interface

Use the Interface screen to configure the NSG's WAN interfaces.

4.1.1 Ethernet

This screen lists the WAN Ethernet interfaces on the NSG. To access this screen, click Configuration >
Interface > Ethernet.
You cannot create new Ethernet interfaces nor can you delete any of them. Ethernet interfaces have
an IP address, subnet mask, and gateway used to make routing decisions.

DESCRIPTION
Double-click an entry or select it and click Edit to open a screen where you can modify the
entry's settings.
To connect an interface, select it and click Connect. You might use this in testing the
interface or to manually establish the connection.
To disconnect an interface, select it and click Disconnect. You might use this in testing the
interface.
This field is a sequential value, and it is not associated with any interface.
This field displays the connection type of the interface.
This field displays the name of the interface.
This field displays the current IP address of the interface. If the IP address is 0.0.0.0 (in the IPv4
network), the interface does not have an IP address yet.
