Press [↑] or [↓] to scroll to Phone book status and press [MENU] to select. You will see:
XX in use XX empty.

Press [END] to exit menu, or you may scroll to other features.
Storing a new number
This feature allows you to create a new entry in the internal phone book. To add a number to an
existing entry, turn to Editing a memory location on page ___.
1.
Enter menu
Press [FCN] then [MENU].
2.
Enter phone book
Press [MENU] to select: Phone Book.
3.
Begin storing
Press [↑] or [↓] to scroll to: Store new number, and press [MENU] to select. You will
see: Enter number.

Enter number
Enter the number you want to store and press [MENU]. You will see: Location XX?

Enter location
Press [STO] or [← *] to store the number in the displayed location or enter a new two
digit location and press [STO].
Or select range of ten
Enter the first digit of the memory location and press [← *] to store it in the first available
location beginning with that digit.
6.
Choose label
Press [↑] or [↓] to scroll through the icons. From left to right: Work, home, mobile,
pager, fax, or other. Press [MENU] or [STO] to select the highlighted icon.
7.
Store more
You will see: Enter next number. Enter up to four numbers per location. Press [STO]
when finished.
8.
Enter name
Enter a name to identify the phone number(s) or continue with step 9. See page ___ for
details on entering names.
9.
Store number
Press [STO] or [MENU]. Your phone will confirm the entry by displaying: XX numbers
saved at XX.
10.
Exit menu
Press [END] to exit the menu, or you may scroll to other features.
Tip:
XX is the number of the lowest available location.
Tip:
Always store your Voice Mail number in location 98.
