Remove the top cover. Locate Lithium Bat-
te ry BTl 001 (P IN Q9000696) on the 144 M-
Main Unit . Note the polarity and co rrect
mounting of the ce ll terminal s.

Unp lug the w ire co nnector fro m J1004,
Jl 005
on the
144M-Main U nit.
o
Remo ve the 9 screws fro m 144M-Ma in Unit.
Note the location of the 9 screws, as indi-
cate belo w .
o
Unsolder the 3 studs fro m 144M-Main Unit.
Note the location of th e 3 studs, as ind ica te
belo w .
o
Unsolder the battery te rm ina ls a nd remove
the old cel l.
Note: Do notdispose of the old batteryin fire,
and e"sure small children cannot playwith, or
possibly il/s est the cell.
o
Mount the re pla ceme nt ce ll in the sim ila r
mann er, observing proper polarity when
insta lling it.
