    DIRECTIVE DECLARATION OF CONFORMITY ESAB Welding Equipment AB, S--695 81 Laxå, Sweden, gives its unreserved guarantee that welding gun PSF 315M/ME, PSF 500M/ME, PSF 410MW from number 217 complies with standard EN 60974--7, in accordance with the requirements of directive (73/23/EEC).

    S Lubrication and maintenance must not be carried out on the equipment during operation. INTRODUCTION The PSF 315M, PSF 315ME, PSF 500M and PSF 500ME are a series of self--cooled welding guns, while the PSF 410MW is water--cooled. The welding guns have been developed for use in robot applications or mechanised welding.

    5.1.2 Remove the gas cover and intermediate nozzle. 5.1.3 Install the welding rod guide in the hose assembly. a) Turn the connecting piece clockwise when you encounter resistance b) The welding rod guide goes in 5.1.4 Cut the welding rod guide to the correct length. When cutting, the welding gun should be extended with the welding rod guide fully inserted in the rear connection.

    Contact nozzles Contact nozzles are selected according to electrode diameter, type of buffer gas and the strength of the current being used. See table on page 118. The contact nozzles are initially selected with the guidance of the CO table. If seizing occurs in the event of high welding data with Argon or mixed gas, select on the basis of the MIX, AR table.

    It is the obligation of the service unit which has carried out the service or repair work to make sure that the product still conforms to the said standard. Spare parts may be ordered through your nearest ESAB dealer, see the last page of this publication. When ordering, please state product type, serial number, designation and spare part number in accordance with the spare parts list.
