- Page 4 3) Installation of the AEM Hybrid Intake System. When installing the Intake System, DO NOT completely tighten the hose clamps or mounting tab hardware until instructed to do so later in these instructions. a) Disconnect the water bypass hose from the bottom of the throttle body.
- Page 5 Rubber Inlet Pipe Support Mounting Surface g) Install the AEM intake filter on the end of the inlet pipe and secure in place with the supplied hose clamp. h) Position the intake pipe assembly in the engine bay so that no part touches the car. When proper fit is achieved, tighten all hose clamps and the nut on the rubber mount.
