- Page 4 e. Unlatch the air box lid clasps and lift the air box lid f. Disconnect the wiring harness from the air box base by depressing the clips. and intake air hose assembly out of the engine bay. g. Use an extension and 10mm socket to reach the low- h.
- Page 5 k. Partially lift out the air box base to gain access to the l. Fully remove the air box base assembly. Be sure the rubber coupler stays attached to the factory air scoop. MAF sensor harness tie and disconnect the harness. Reinstall it at this time if it removes with the air box as- sembly.
- Page 6 ® 3. Installation of AEM intake system. a. When installing the intake system, do not completely tighten the hose clamps or mounting hardware until instructed to do so. a. Install the PCV grommet and the MAF sensor using b. Install the tall rubber mount on to the shock tower the factory screws.
- Page 7 Fasten the heatshield base to the lower rubber mount j. Install the AEM DryFlow air filter to the filter adapter with the provided nut. with the provided hose clamp.
- Page 8 k. Connect the MAF sensor and tighten the hose clamps l. Replace the upper fender shroud by rotating it into place and snapping it into in to the square holes. at this time. m. Reinstall the engine cover by aligning the grommets with their posts and gently pushing down.

5. Service and Maintenance a. AEM Induction Systems requires cleaning the intake system’s air filter element every 100,000 miles. When used in dusty or off-road environments, our filters will require cleaning more often. We recommend that you visually inspect your filter once every 25,000 miles to determine if the screen is still visible. - Page 10 The powder coating should ® only be cleaned with a mild soap and water solution. Proof of purchase of both the vehicle and AEM intake system is required for redemption of a warranty claim.
