Troubleshooting
Problem
Display not connecting
to Wifi
Data not uploading to
Weather Underground
Inaccurate
temperature or
humidity
No rainfall
• Your internet router and display must be within range
of each other. Relocate your display closer to your router.
• Ensure the network name and password you've
entered are correct. NOTE: Both network name and
password are case sensitive.
• Reset the display by pressing and holding the
RESET button for 10 seconds, located in the battery
compartment of the display. Date and time will need
to be entered after a reset.
• Make sure DCHP is enabled on your router. Most
routers have DHCP enabled by default.
• Ensure your router is broadcasting a 2.4 GHz
network. The weather station display is equipped with
a Wi-Fi module that only supports 2.4 GHz wireless
networks. If your router uses a 5 GHz network and
you are trying to set your display up wirelessly on
that network, this may be causing the issue.
• Ensure the Weather Underground
Station Key/Password you've entered are correct.
• Navigate to "192.168.4.1" in your web browser.
TM
Confirm that your Station ID and Station
Key/Password are entered correctly.
• Make sure both the display and 5-in-1 sensor are
placed away from any heat sources or vents (see
page 11).
• Make sure both units are positioned away from
moisture sources (see page 11).
• Make sure 5-in-1 sensor is mounted at least 5 ft off of
the ground.
• Check to ensure the rain gauge stabilizer (plastic tab)
has been removed from the bottom of the sensor (see
page 8).
• Clear debris, such as leaves, out of the rain collector
funnel and debris screen.
• Calibrate the Rain Gauge (see page 18).
• Verify the sensor's internal tipping lever is moving
freely by dripping a little water through the rain
collector. You should hear the lever tipping. If you do
not hear it, you may need to clean inside the sensor.
