Attaching the Long Life Filter Unit
The Long Life Filter Unit (Model No.: ET‑EMFU330) uses two of the same
standard air filter unit attached to the projector. The interval to perform
maintenance/replacement of filters is extended roughly two times by
attaching the Long Life Filter Unit instead of the standard air filter unit
attached to the projector.
Purchase the Replacement Filter Unit (Model No.: ET‑EMF330) when
replacing the air filter unit.
Attention
f Make sure to turn off the power before removing the standard air filter unit attached to
the projector and attaching the Long Life Filter Unit. Make sure to follow the procedure in
"Switching off the projector" described in the Operating Instructions of the projector when
turning off the power.
f Make sure that the projector is stable, and perform the maintenance in a safe place even if
the filter falls accidentally.
Note
f When the Long Life Filter Unit (Model No.: ET‑EMFU330) is attached, the eyebolts for
installation work cannot be attached.
f All the projector illustrations in this manual are based on the PT‑RZ31K series.
