To the right of the screen there are three icons, Operate, Sample Viewer and
Instrument Settings.
Operate
To make a measurement, press the Operate icon. Measurement time takes approx.
9 seconds following which measurement data is displayed.
The measurement number indicator will increment by one as each measurement is
made.
Sample Viewer
Pressing the Sample Viewer icon allows viewing of the surface under different
conditions.
There are four modes of operation of the viewer each one activating sequentially
after each press of the icon:-
Sample viewer - X Sweep
Projects a fringe pattern onto the surface in the X direction. Useful for pre -
measurement directional analysis of texture and / or defects.
