SHOOTING IN THE HIGH
SENSITIVITY MODE
You can press the HIGH SENSITIVITY button to capture an even brighter
image. You can also get a brighter image by setting the ISO sensitivity
(page 90) to a higher setting.

Press the HIGH SENSITIVITY
button.
h The
mark appears on the
monitor, and the camera changes
to the high sensitivity mode.
Still image shooting:
Images are captured at an ISO
sensitivity setting higher than t.
Video clip recording:
Sensitivity is increased by raising
the ISO sensitivity above the t
setting and by automatically
adjusting the shutter speed during
video clip recording.
h To return to normal sensitivity,
press the HIGH SENSITIVITY
button again.
CAUTION
Limitation concerning the high sensitivity mode
i It is not possible to set the manual exposure or flicker reduction function
while the high sensitivity mode is enabled.
Does the movement in the recorded video clip appear rough?
i When the shutter speed is reduced to create a brighter image, video clip
movement may not appear smooth during playback.
