I have a roadmaster even brake kit. The icx needs a wire on terminal #1 to work properly and I don't understand how to connect it!? Is it the signal from the RV or should I take the signal from the brake pedal of the towed vehicle? also if it is the signal from the towed vehicle, how does the even brake know when to press or even how much force it should apply? thank you for your response

To connect the wire on terminal #1 of the Roadmaster Even Brake 98400 kit:
- If the Brake-Lite Relay was installed: Connect the female spade connector at the end of the green wire to terminal #1 on the ICX transmitter. - If the Brake-Lite Relay was not installed: Connect the “cold” side of the brake light switch to terminal #1 on the ICX transmitter.
You should take the signal from the brake pedal of the towed vehicle, not from the RV.
