Click Read from Repeater (optional).

This displays the settings that are saved in the repeater.
Note: This step is only necessary if the repeater was pro-
grammed before.
Click Multi Cell Solution to configure the repeater for a multi

cell system.
The user interface and button texts vary according to
which settings are active.
Make the following settings:

Multi Cell Solution: Enter the ARI of the IP DECT Server.

You will find the ARI on the back of the IP DECT Server or
in the configuration manager under Status > Wireless
Server.
Number of channels to transfer (Busy Bit): Enter the

number of voice channels you want the repeater to man-
age (for COMfortel WS-R2, maximum 2 channels, for
COMfortel WS-R4, maximum 4 channels).
Base station to synchronize on: Enter the number of the
í
base station you want the repeater to synchronise with.
You will find this number in the IP DECT Server configu-
ration manager under Administration > Base station in
the RPN field.
Note: When using a COMfortel WS-400 IP, the RPN is always 0.
Repeater number: Enter a number for the repeater. You

can make the following entries: A number between 0 and
255.
