Description and Features

Introduction

The VersaMax Expansion I/O Interface Card allows the QuickPanel

Control operator interface to control VersaMax remote expansion

rack(s). The VersaMax Expansion I/O Interface Card is used to

connect the QuickPanel Control operator interface to up to seven

VersaMax remote expansion module racks. Each expansion rack

can include up to eight I/O modules.

The communication path consists of a VersaMax Expansion I/O

Interface Card installed in a QuickPanel Control, a GE or user-

supplied cable and mating connectors, and an Expansion receiver

module installed at the head end of each VersaMax remote

expansion module rack.

Configuration of the VersaMax Expansion I/O interface card in the

QuickPanel Control is accomplished using Proficy™ Machine

Edition. For a complete description of the features and capabilities

of the VersaMax Expansion I/O interface card, please refer to the

Proficy Machine Edition on-line help for the card.

A termination plug, IC200ACC201, is included with the card.
