I believe my treadmill needs calibrated. Slowing it down under 1 actually makes it go faster. I have no idea how to calibrate, though.

I forgot to mention, selecting the 1 speed is actually really fast. It's a very brisk walk, which was also a reason for me to believe it needs calibrated.

To calibrate the incline system of the Gold's Gym Trainer 480 treadmill:
1. Insert the key into the console. 2. Press one of the Incline buttons to start changing the incline. 3. While the incline is changing, remove the key. 4. Wait a few seconds, then re-insert the key.
The treadmill will automatically rise to the maximum incline level and then return to the minimum level, completing the recalibration.

My 480 trainer treadmill belt will not move
