SNMP Agent

Simple Network Monitor Protocol (SNMP) is an application
layer protocol that facilitates the exchange of management
information between network devices. Network
administrators use SNMP to monitor network‑attached
devices for issues that warrant attention.
The airFiber X radio contains an SNMP Agent, which does
the following:
• Provides an interface for device monitoring using SNMP
• Communicates with SNMP management applications
for network provisioning
• Allows network administrators to monitor network
performance and troubleshoot network problems
For the purpose of equipment identification, configure the
SNMP Agent with contact and location information:

but do not have write access. The airFiber X radio
