Precautions WARNING Operation and Maintenance This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. - Page 5 Precautions WARNING Maintenance must be performed by qualified professionals. Prolonged operation may cause ice to form on the outdoor coil and block airflow, reducing the system’s heating capacity. If the mini split microcomputer detects ice on the outdoor coil it will switch automatically to defrost mode to melt the ice and clear the coil. During defrost mode, heating will be discontinued and the mini split system will flash the Defrost indicator. -
