The system below provides plenty of power for a 2-way active system with even
the lowest efficiency front speaker system. Each speaker has 550 watts RMS @ 4Ω
• Since all speakers are being bridged, they must all be minimum 4Ω ~ 8Ω
impedance
• Ch1/2 and 3/4 will use Filters set to HPF with frequency set to where the
woofer will begin
• Ch5/6 will use the HP Sub Sonic filter at 15Hz ~ 30Hz to protect the woofer.
The low-pass filter should be set the HP frequency of the full-range speakers
on Ch1/2 and Ch3/4
It is critical the crossover frequencies and gains of Ch1/2 and Ch3/4 are set exactly the same.
4Ω ~ 8Ω
This same setup can also be used for a high power Left, Center, Right front
stage.
