Troubleshooting the Schwinn SRB-1 500 Exercise Bike
TIP: Use assembly diagram(s) as reference when troubleshooting
unit.
PROBLEM: Computer will not start, function, or is blank...
(SOLUTION):
1. Ensure the batteries were installed correctly.
2. Check the wiring connections and connector orientation made to the computer.
3. Confirm that wiring (cable assembly) has not been damaged
4. lf computer still fails to start please call 1.877.417.0519
for assistance.
PROBLEM: No Heart Rate on computer...
(SOLUTION):
1. Check the connections made under the bike, under the seat, and into the computer.
2. lf hearl rate still fails to work call 1.877.417.0519
for assistance.
PROBLEM: Bike will not sit level...
(SOLUTION):
1. Adjust the levelers on the rear stabilizer, then tighten the jam nut.

All Schwinn fitness related products are warranted to the original purchaser to be free from manufacture
defects in materials and workmanship.
The term of the warranty coverage is limited to; 10 years on the frame, 1-year mechanical par1s, 1-year
electronic components, and 6 months on "wear" related items.
. Wear items pertain to components that might need to be replaced due to normal wear and tear. Wear
items are considered as those parts which user life will vary depending on uncontrolled parameters (i.e.
placement environment, frequency of use, type of user, etc.) These items vary per product but will include;
computeroverlays,
grips, belts, drive-train components, brake pads, pedals, upholstery, bearings, etc...

. Defective items or problems are related to a structural failure, weakness, or deficiency in manufacturing
quality. These are factors controlled through adequate development and production process. A true manu-

facturing defect will usually happen within a short period of initial use.
THIS WARRANTY DOES NOT COVER:
1. Any component on the original equipment, which carries a separate consumer warranty and is covered
by the original manufacture.
2. Normal wear and tear: Wear items will include, but are not limited too, pedal straps, belts, upholstery,
grips, computer overlays, pedal bearings, aesthetic decals, etc.
3. Any damage, failure or loss caused by accident, misuse, neglect, abuse, improper assembly, improper
maintenance or failure to follow instructions or warnings in Owner's Manual.
4. Use of products in a manner for which they were not intended.
5. Use of any product in other than a home or residential setting unless oth-
