    Motor Selection The RIB11 can accommodate a variety of motors from trolling motors up to 20 hp gas motors. With small gas engines (2 - 4 hp), the RIB11 will travel at 3 to 5 miles per hour and will not plane under most conditions. Equipped with a 9.9 hp motor RIB11 can reach a planing speed with two adults and one child.
