- When selecting DC/VIDEO lens, the shutter speed is 'FIXED' mode(1/60 or 1/50).
- When selecting MANUAL lens, the shutter speed is 'AUTO' mode.

ON : You can adjust the sensitivity and BLC area of backlight compensation.
When there is a strong backlight behind the object(within the BLC AREA),
Clear images of the object can still be obtained by using the BLC function.

OFF : Backlight compensation function does not operate.
* Please select 'ON' and the press the SETUP button to BLC the setting.
- BLC AREA : Please select all the area you wish to observe.
>Press the SETUP switch long. Enters with the set window. (Refer to 26 page : Area Setting.)
- BLC RATIO : The brightness can be adjusted level.
To control the brightness of the object '0(increase)' to 63(decrease)'.

Adjust range : 1/60 ~ 1/100,000 sec (NTSC)
1/50 ~ 1/100,000 sec (PAL)
Adjust range :
0(Shutter slow) ~ 255(Shutter fast) steps.
