even net work failure.

CORRECTIVE ACTION
Using fault y net work cables m ay affect dat a rat es and have an im pact on your
net work perform ance. Replace wit h new st andard net work cables.
Non- st andard cables m ay increase t he num ber of net work collisions and cause ot her
net work problem s t hat affect your net work perform ance. Refer t o
page 14
for m ore inform at ion on net work cable t ypes.
I f you use longer cables t han are needed, t ransm ission qualit y m ay be affect ed.
The net work cables should not be longer t han t he lim it of 100 m et ers.
Too m any hubs ( or repeat ers) bet ween t he connect ed com put ers in t he net work
m ay increase t he num ber of net work collision or ot her net work problem s. Rem ove
unnecessary hubs from t he net work.
A dat a pat h loop form s when t here is m ore t han one pat h or rout e bet ween t wo
net worked com put ers. This result s in broadcast st orm s t hat will severely affect your
net work perform ance. Make sure t here are no loops in your net work t opology.
