Perform the functions indicated by the text
above them (in the bottom line of the display).

In the menu facility, scroll through the menu
options and phonebook memory.
When held down in idle mode, access your
favourite menu options directly (for more infor-
mation on shortcuts, see page 85).
In the menu facility, return to the previous
menu level and select the current menu
respectively.
When entering a name, move the cursor left
and right respectively.
When pressed in idle mode, access your
favourite menu options directly (for more infor-

Deletes characters from the display.

as a name) in the phone or SIM memory.
