HANDLING LADDER / EMERGENCY ESCAPE DEVICE

OPERATING LADDER ON THE GROUND

Extending
1. Pull down chain (4) to release lock.
2. Pull down handle (3) to lower ladder (1) to locked po-
sition.
Retracting
1. Pull down chain (2) to release lock.
2. Push up ladder (1) to locked position.
OPERATING LADDER ON THE UPPER-
STRUCTURE
CAUTION: Step back immediately after releasing
ladder lock as spring force slides the ladder up
quickly, potentially causing injury.
Extending
1. Pull up handle (5) to release lock.
2. Push down the ladder to locked position.
Retracting
1. Pull up handle (6) to release lock.
2. Pull up the ladder to locked position.
