Change Gear Oil --- every 1000 hours
(first time after 50 hours)
1. Park the machine on a level surface.
2. Lower the bucket to the ground.
3. Turn the auto-idle switch off.
IMPORTANT: The turbocharger may be damaged if the
engine is not properly shut down.
4. Run the engine at slow idle speed without load for five
minutes.
5. Stop the engine. Remove the key from the key switch.
6. Pull the pilot control shut-off lever to the LOCK
position.
CAUTION: Gear oil may be hot. Wait for gear oil
to cool before starting work.
7. Remove drain plug (3) and loosen drain cock (2) to
drain oil.
8. Tighten drain cock (2) and drain plug (3).
9. Remove plug (4) and add oil until it is between marks
on dipstick (1).
Clean Breather --- every 1000 hours
1. Remove cap (5) and clean the element.
