3. Do not use the rear of the bucket for grading opera-
tion, as this will damage it.
4. Do not push rocks or other heavy materials with the
side of the bucket (using the swing movement of the
upperstructure), as this may damage the front at-
tachment. If such pushing is unavoidable, be sure to
do it slowly and carefully.
CAUTION: When excavating with boom extended
to high levels, do not tilt bucket back, as materi-
als will spill on operator's cab. Dump bucket
slightly to prevent spilling.
IMPORTANT: 1. When digging with the upperstruc-
ture at an angle to the undercarriage,
avoid striking the tracks with the
bucket.
2. Avoid further extension of the bucket
cylinder after the bucket comes into
contact with the stopper, as the arm
cylinder will be extended, moving the
bucket forward.
