AVANT DE DÉMARRER
Inspecter la moto-sur-neige avec ses parents ou
un adulte avant de la mettre en marche.
Consulter la rubrique VÉRIFICATION AVANT LE
DÉMARRAGE.
Poignée d'accélérateur
Actionner la manette 2 ou 3 fois avant de faire
tourner le moteur. La poignée doit revenir à sa
position initiale dès qu'on la relâche.
AVERTISSEMENT
Vérifiez le fonctionnement de la poignée avant
chaque démarrage. La poignée doit retourner à
sa position initiale lorsqu'on la relâche. Si ce
n'est pas le cas, ne pas démarrer le moteur.
Frein
Procéder de la même façon pour vérifier la
manette de frein.
Inspection visuelle
S'assurer que le capot est bien en place et fixé
correctement. Enlever l'accumulation de neige
sur capot et les entrées de ventilation du moteur,
puis déneiger les appuis pied et s'assurez qu'ils
ne sont pas glacés.
S'assurer que la chenille n'est pas gelée au sol.
Afin de s'en assurer, soulever l'arrière de la
moto-sur-neige ou demander l'aide d'une adulte.
AVERTISSEMENT
Ne pas tenter de soulever le véhicule à la main
par soi-même. Se servir d'un outil de levage ou
demander de l'aide pour partager le poids afin
d'éviter de se blesser.
AVERTISSEMENT
Ne jamais soulever la moto-sur-neige si le
moteur tourne.
BEFORE YOU START
Always do pre-start inspection with your parents
or an adult before you turn on the ignition. Refer
to PRE-OPERATION CHECK.
Throttle
Operate the throttle 2 or 3 times before you turn
on the ignition. It must return freely to the idle or
closed position.
WARNING
Test the twist throttle operation each time
before starting the engine. The twist throttle
must return to its original position once
released. Otherwise, do not start engine.
Brake
Test your brake lever as you did the throttle.
Visual inspection
Make certain that the hood is well in place and
properly set. Remove any accumulated snow
from the hood and the engine ventilation entries
as well as from the foot pegs and make sure that
they are not frozen
Make sure the track is not frozen to the ground.
To verify, lift rear of snowbike or ask an adult to
help.
WARNING
Do not attemp to lift the rear by hand alone. Use
an appropriate lifting device or have assistence
to share lifting stress in order to avoid risk of
strain injuries.
WARNING
Never lift snowbike if engine is running.
