Number
WAIT: This will be displayed when the unit is still waiting

for a stable reading.
BAT: Low battery indicator.

pH: Unit and mode indicators.

mV: Unit and mode indicators.

ATC/MAN: ATC indicator will be displayed if a

temperature probe is connected, otherwise the MAN
indicator will be displayed.
CAL: This will be displayed when the unit enters the

calibration mode.
AUTO: AUTOLOCK mode indicator.

Buffer selection: This indicator will flash if the pH1000A
8
needs to be recalibrated. This indicator also identifies
the buffer set currently selected.
LOCK: This will indicate the reading is frozen during
9
AUTOLOCK mode.
EFF: This will be displayed if the user is viewing the
10
efficiency of the electrode. It is recommended to clean
and/or replace the electrode when the efficiency value
is less than 90%.
MAIN DISPLAY: pH, mV and probe efficiency values.
