Normal transmitters used must be capable of running in parallel i.e. more than one
transmitter enabled, RS485 compatible. The group poll uses this feature.
4.3
Four wire and two wire operation
The 4407 is a full duplex four wire device. However due to the workings of the multi-
drop communication protocol where the controller initiates data flows, the 4407 can
be used as a two wire device with the following wiring modifications:
