Setting local/remote gain modes

The local or RS485 remote gain control is selected by 5288 jumper PL1. Setting PL1 to
'0' enables PL3 to select either an external fader or the on-board potentiometer, RV1
to control AES gain.

Notes:

An external fader ( ³10kW ), may be connected to the control port as described in
the installation section.

Setting PL1 to '1' assigns gain/fader control to the RS485 communication
protocol.

PL4 must be left in the NORM position and PL2 is reserved for future use.
