DOOR PHONE COVER or a SURFACE MOUNTING KIT, which has a Rain Deflector should be used (see pages 14-15). Our DP2 Door Phones can operate at distances of up to 330 yards (300 meters) from the Controller, providing high quality cabling such as CAT3 or CAT5 is used. -

A Door Phone Balance Pot is located behind a sealing plug on the rear of DP2. Its position is Factory Set and will usually not have to be adjusted. For some installations (such as when using 2 Door Phones in parallel), it may be necessary to adjust the Balance Pot (see page 9). -
