Cause
Clock battery power is
low.
The input buffer memory is full and
the computer is still transmitting data.
Handshake mode is not on.
Cutter cannot return into its home
position and stays in an undefined
position
No cutter function
The cutter is unable to cut the labels
but is able to return into its home
position.
Programming addresses a non-exis-
tent device
Error with the selected download font
Possible hardware issue.
Printhead may need to be
replaced.
Printhead may not be
completely closed.
The printhead
temperature is too high.
RFID Tag on an IP-enabled label roll
is unable to be read or is missing
information.

Corrective Action
Replace the clock battery.
Use data transmission via protocol
(preferably
RTS/CTS).
Access the printer setup menu, hand-
shake mode and select RTS/CTS.
Switch off the printer. Remove mate-
rial. Switch on
the printer. Restart print job.
Change material
Switch the printer off and then on.
If error recurs call service.
Press Cancel
Change material.
Either connect this device or correct
the programming.
Cancel current print job, change font.
Recycle power to the printer. If the
error does not clear, call service.
Recycle power to the printer several
times. If fault does not clear, replace
the printhead.
Close the printhead completely and
press the pause key.
If in Standard mode, check that the
heat setting is not set too high for the
material you are using.
Allow the printer to cool for several
minutes before resuming the print job.
If the error continues to repeat, con-
tact customer service to determine
other possible causes.
Reboot the printer, if error reoccurs
select Enter and use printer in Stan-
dard mode.
