9.1 WIEGAND 26, 30 and 44 bit output format
26-bit Wiegand Output
Hexadecimal 26 bit format. Communication uses a Wiegand 26 bit type signal
(signals: DATA1, DATA0). The frame is composed of a total of 26 bits split up as
follows:
1. First parity: 1 bit - parity for the first 12 bits.
Badge code: 3 one byte words representing the 6 last terms
Each word is sent with the most significant bit first.
2. Second parity: 1 bit - odd parity for the last 12 bits
Bit 1
Even parity on bit 2 to bit 13
For example: for a card with hexadecimal code 00166A37
1
0001
Parity 1
1
The transmitted hexadecimal code is 166A37
Parity 1:
0 if the number of '1's in bits 2 to 13 is even,
1 if the number of '1's from bit 2 to 13 is odd.
Parity 2:
0 if the number of '1's in bits 14 to 25 is odd,
1 if the number of '1's from bit 14 to 25 is even.
Bit 2 à bit 25
