Note that the client responses do not necessarily need to be in the same Ethernet frame, but this is
recommended. Once a Telnet session is open, there must be a carriage return (0x0D) followed by a line feed
(0x0A) after every Telnet command send by the client.
The following table provides examples of the Telnet commands.
Command
netcfg Displays current network
configuration. If the network
configuration has been changed,
netcfg will also show the settings
to be applied on reset.
dhcp [on/off] Enables or disables DHCP and
[short/long] sets the timeout length. For
more information see section 0.
scfg [on/off] Enables or disables automatic
switch configuration loading.
This will load the switch
configuration stored in EEPROM
40 seconds (approx.) after a
power up. For more information
see section 9.6.
hcfg [long/short] Configures the UDP heartbeat
packet to normal or extended
format.
