THE CONVECTION THERMISTOR & OVEN THERMOSTAT

Replace all panels before operating.

CONVECTION THERMISTOR
Refer to page 2-15 for the procedure for servic-
ing the convection thermistor.
1.
Disconnect the electrical power to the
microwave oven.
2.
Disconnect the convection thermistor con-
nector from the electronic oven control at
CN5.
3.
Set the ohmmeter to the R x 10K scale.
4.
Touch the ohmmeter leads to connector
pin slots 1 and 3. The meter should indi-
cate approximately 210 KΩ.

OVEN THERMOSTAT
Refer to page 2-9 for the procedure for servic-
ing the oven thermostat.
1.
Disconnect the electrical power to the
microwave oven.
2.
Disconnect the wires from the oven ther-
mostat terminals.
3.
Set the ohmmeter to the R x 1 scale.
4.
Touch the ohmmeter leads to the thermo-
stat terminals. At room temperature, the
meter should indicate continuity (closed
contacts).
