Stop operating the air conditioner, and pull out the power cord before repair.

Procedures
• AZ18FAMEA
1. Hold the air filter handle, slightyly pull it to the
left side and open the front grille.
2. Pull the air filter to the right side.
• AZ18AAMEA
1. Open the front grille by pulling on the tabs of the
unit.
2. Grasp the handle on the air filter and lift it slightly
and then out of front.
1. Remove the screws on both sides of the cabi-
net to disconnect the cabinet and frame.
2. Pull the handle on the front side of the
bottom, and remove the unit from the
cabinet.
1. Remove 10 screws, on the evap cover and
earth wire screw.
