Control Panel Features

There are three types of Q9 Plus Bypass ASD/Q9 Plus Bypass Box control panels available. The type
of panel used is configuration-specific to the typeform being used (A, C, or E typeforms).
Panel A is used as a cover and has no active features.
Panels C and E provide the user with access to the Q9 Plus Bypass ASD/Q9 Plus Bypass Box
monitoring and control features. Each feature is discussed below and expanded upon in the section titled
Theory of Operation on pg.
Figure 11
shows the three Q9 Plus Bypass ASD/Q9 Plus Bypass Box panel types.

Panel Item Descriptions

1.
Control Power LED (LED 5) — ON when the control circuit power is applied.

System Interlock LED (LED 4) — ON when the following conditions are met:
Control Power is applied,
Door switch (LS) is open,
Protective Overload contactor (OL) is closed,
Customer Interface contact (CI) is closed, and
The damper is fully open (DRA connected to DRB).
The Inverter and Bypass operating modes are enabled for normal operation as selected by the Inverter
Mode Switch.
Inverter LED (LED 2) — ON when the following conditions are met:

Control Power is applied,
Door switch (LS) is open,
Protective Overload contactor (OL) is closed,
Customer Interface contact (CI) is closed, and
The Inverter Mode switch is set to INV.
Upon receiving a Damper Response signal (DRA/DRB), the 2M contactor closes to allow for normal
Inverter Mode operation.
