2. Troubleshooting
Instrument
I No sound is heard.
Make sure that the TD - 7 is connected securely and correctly to the amplifier.
-P Connect the TD - 7 to the amplifier securely and correctly.
Make sure that the signal is not output to Individual Output l or 2.
-P Connect the amplifier to Individual Output Jack I or 2.
Make sure that the Instn.tment's Output Level is not set to zero.
--0 Set the Output Level to an appropriate level. (ET P. 8'7)
Make sure the Midi In Switch in the System screen is not set to OFF.
-0 Set the Midi In Switch to ON.(r-'1' P.l I6)
Make sure that the Local Control Switch in the System screen is not set to OFF.
--9 Set the Local Control Switch to ON. (fr P.l20)
Make sure that the Trigger Interface Mode in the System screen is not set to the Trigger MIDI Interface Mode or MIDI Sound Module
mode.
-0 If so, change it to the Standard mode.( sit" P. I23)
If you are going to play the Instrument Section, make sure that the Instrument Section Transmit and Receive channel is set to the same
number as the Trigger Transmit channel. Or make sure that Instrument Section Level is not set to O.
-0 Set the Instrument Section Transmit and Receive channel to the same number as the Trigger Transmit channel. (-11? P. I IS)
'0 Set the Instrument Section Level to an appropriate level.( I'-T P. I I9)
lfyou are going to play a Performance Section, make sure that the Performance Section Transmit and Receive channel is set to the same
number as the Trigger Transmit channel. Or make sure that the Global Performance Level is not set to 0.
-0 Set the Performance Section Transmit and Receive channel to the same number as the Trigger Transmit channel. (fir P. 116)
-t» Set the Global Performances Level to an appropriate level.( til' P. '74)
O The sound level is too low.
Cheek if the volume of the amplifier is set too low.
-b llso, raise the volume of the amplifier.
Check if the volume of the TD - '7 is set too low.
-0 If so, raise the volume of the TD ~ 7.
Q The sound of an Instrument is strange.
Check if the lnstntrnent Parameters are set properly.
-b If not, set the Instrument Parameters properly. (Cr P. 78)
Q Playing a pad with the Choke function set to ON will produce the sound with a short decay.
Check if a pad other than a PD ~ 7 is connected to a Trigger Input Jack.
--b lf so, set the Choke function to OFF. (Hf P. 45)
