    6. Remove the batteries. Test the connection Before you install your new Inspire Thermostat on the wall we recommend you test the connection between the Thermostat and the Gateway box. 1. Unpack the power supply and plug in the Gateway.

    Before you start Do I need to install my Inspire Thermostat somewhere new? We find that most Thermostats are located in rooms that have limited use. The position of these Thermostats mean the temperature could be warmer or colder than the homeowners feel.

    The homes construction and arrangement may affect the communication so consideration is needed. ° Place your Inspire Thermostat so you can easily access and read the on screen display. ° Install on an interior wall. ° Make sure your Thermostat is away from any drafts.
