6-28. Pickup Roller
1 . Before you remove the pickup ro l l e r, you should
r emove:
-All covers (see pages 6-2, 6-10 to 6-13)
-HVPS Board (see page 6-19)
-Upper Frame (see page 6-22)
-Gear Bracket (see page 6-18)
2 . Remove the pickup cap.
3 . Remove one scre w, t h e n rotate the pick-up
bushing at the left end of the roller clock-wise.

4 . Remove E-ring at the right end of the ro l l e r, t h e n
r emove the gear.
5 . P u l l t h e s h a f t t o l e f t t o v i e w a p i n a t t h e r i g h t
end, and remove the pin passing through the
shaft. Then pull the ro l l e r s h a f t t o r i g h t , a n d l i f t
i t u p .
