The Texecom Veritas Excel connects keypads to the control panel using 12V (AUX+), 0V (AUX-), and T, T, R, R terminals. Up to six keypads can be connected in parallel (star), series (daisy-chain), or a combination. For long cable runs or series connections, ensure voltage at the keypad is no more than 2V less than at the control panel. Use spare cores in 6-core or 8-core cables to double-up or treble-up on 0V to support longer runs. Each keypad must have a unique address set via DIP switches.
